Students can take an examination in other subjects beyond the compulsory and elective area. If you choose French cultural studies and linguistics, you have the opportunity to obtain a double degree by studying in France for two semesters: the bachelor's degree "Kulturwort" from the University of Duisburg-Essen and the license in the "Langue’s Étrangers Appliqués "course. To this end, we cooperate with the University Aix-Marseille (AMU) and the University de Pau et des Pays de l' Adour (UPPA). You study in Duisburg-Essen in the first and second semester, in Aix-Marseille or in Pau in the third and fourth semester and in Duisburg-Essen again in the fifth and sixth semester. Due to the limited number of places, an application process is planned.
